Why am I writing about "Financial Recovery" here?  Because financial recovery is part of our recovery process.  The Internet will be part of our world financial recovery in the long run.  Since we are using the Internet for our information and entertainment and shopping and ... we might as well get paid to see some additional ads and participate in our Internet Economy.

A few days ago I found another great deal, that may not last too long. They are paying me and you $10 to just register with our credit card. They will pay me and you $10 for each friend that we refer.  When I am the one refering you I would appreciate you using my link.  They will pay me and you up to $1000, when the first 100 of our friends also register with their credit cards. After the first 100, we only get warm feelings.  Now, September 2000, they are only paying $5 to sign up and $5 to the referer.

Why do I feel comfortable about them.  Because they currently have financial backing and are getting a lot of publicity.   Why the credit card registration?  Because they are a service with a goal of making sending money on the net easy and safe.  Now, why do I think that they would use this advertising technique?  It cost them $10 to sign me up. Then it will cost them $20 for signing any of my friends up. That is $20 per new customer. I have read that it takes over $30 in advertising to get a customer, so they may be paying us instead of advertisers. Now that they are paying $5 they are even better off.  They will also get free advertising, as news of this offer gets around the net and then the media. I first read about them in PC World, without the information that they are paying bonuses.  I then read about them in many net articles.  I liked their idea of their service, of paying other people and getting paid by e-mail, instead of having to have a credit card merchant account. I had been looking for something like this and I was willing to pay a reasonable fee.  I had already found one that charges 20% with no sign up fee, so I was really happy to find this free service. They are currently not charging anything for our transactions.  Someone thought they will make money on the "float".

My guess is that they are intending to attract large merchant accounts and to be able to have enough customers to get paid to advertise on the net. The company's name is Confinity and they are backed by Nokia and Deutsche Bank. Write me when you know how to buy stock in Confinity?

Here is what they suggested that I send to my friends:

I found "The Dollar Stretcher" at http://www.stretcher.com/ had many ways to stretch our dollars.  One of the best ways to make money is to stretch the money we have.  After all, the dollar we save is worth more than the dollar we make.  The dollars we save are not taxed!
